Grapefruit – Carrot – Ginger Super Juice

Grapefruit (pH 3.00 – 3.75) has cleansing qualities that break up fatty build up in your arteries and flushes it away.  The acid that does this you cannot find anywhere else.  Not only that butgrapefruitcarrotgingering this citrus friend of ours has proved to one of the most valuable fuits that aids in the removal of inorganic calcium that may have formed deposits in the joints (arthritis) as a result of over consumption of white flour and pasturized milk products.

Carrots (pH 4.55 – 6.10) are amazing at cleansing almost every system in the body while delivering an array of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes to cells giving them the fuel they need to wash away all the yucky stuff and rebuild healthy cells.

Ginger also has an array of digestive benefits and healing qualities as well has tastes great!

The result: one very tasty detoxifying juice!

The ingredients:

2 Grapefruit (skinned)
4 Carrots
Chunk of Ginger

Quick Tip:  Peeling grapefruit can be very time consuming and discouraging for use in juice recipes.  You could use a citrus juicer to get the fresh juice and then add that to the “juiced” ingredients OR simply cut off the skin and add it to your power juicer with the other ingredients.  I prefer cutting the skin off as it literally takes a fraction of the time (20 sec) it would to hand squeeze and I don’t have to wash up the citrus juicer!

    I love this but I replace one of the Grapefruit fruits with a beet root and A touch of Pink Himalayan salt
